Working for the Disabled
B.O.P.H (Business Opportunities for the Physically Handicapped) is a registered charity run by two full time and one part time employees and dedicated volunteers, all with one aim, to improve the life of disabled people. After two years of continuous fundraising a delapidated building was refurbished to a very high standard, with the help of local tradesmen, who gave their time and expertise free of charge.
BOPH Opened in June 1995
B.O.P.H opened on the 27th June 1995, and provides the physically handicapped and those with learning difficulties, on leaving school with a normal working environment, giving them a life comparable to their able bodied peers. We provide much needed work opportunities and work placements for disabled people and people with learning difficulties in Essex.
