Work Placements For Disabled People

Business Opportunities for the Physically Handicapped (BOPH) provide work placements for disabled people. We work with disabled people in Essex to provide work placements for disabled people and people with learning difficulties.

BOPH was founded in 1995 by Joan and her late husband. As a baby their granddaughter had suffered vaccine damage that had left her disabled. When their granddaughter left full time education, Joan’s family soon became aware that there was a complete lack of work opportunities for young adults with disabilities. So Joan and her husband set up a centre that would offer work placements for disabled people. A safe and friendly environment for people with disabilities to work and live a normal life.

Providing Work Placements For Disabled People

After full time education, there aren’t many opportunities for long term employment for disabled people in our area. At BOPH we give our clients a work placement that lasts indefinitely. Clients have the chance for a working life like their able bodied friends.
